This is my first ever track outing in my Caterham Super 7 Hayabusa 1400. I am on street tires. There was a steep learning curve in this car. My best lap was around a 1:45, but I easily have another 2 -3 seconds in hand when I get used to the car and get it set up. I do not at all know what gears are best for what corners yet. You see me try different shift point, trying to figure this out, but I never get it down. My best lap ever at Barber in any car was a 1:41. The rear of the car was very loose and I was trying to drive around this during this session as well. At just over a minute in, I lock a right front braking into the hairpin and get in to hot, so instead of trying to for the corner and spin, I just drive straight off into the grass. About 3/4 of the way through an orange 570 hp Porsche GT-2 passes me and I give chase, yielding my best laps of the session. Most of the other laps were not clean. Oh, the sound is not so good, so turn it up and enjoy!
